The artist
Verso is the studio practice of Marisol Vaneé — painter, printmaker and reluctant shopkeeper. Each work begins as an original on paper or canvas, then is scanned, colour-matched and editioned by hand.
Nothing is mass-produced. When an edition sells out, the file is retired and the plate is destroyed. What hangs on your wall is finite by design.
